AI that makes it into your team's daily work.

I help development teams work with AI and build AI systems for your products and workflows.

Engineering & consulting

Typical situations where I help:

Developing with AI: setup, workflows, team

Your dev team uses AI tools, but day to day little changes? I configure coding agents like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to fit your stack and work with you directly on your tickets. You leave with a working setup and review and testing workflows that you've tried on your own tasks and can continue to improve yourselves.

AI systems: from prototype to production

You have a concrete use case but not the capacity or experience to build it? I take on the implementation or support your team with it: from knowledge systems (second brain, RAG) to AI agents, chat assistants, automations, and computer vision, including operations, documentation, and handover. Your team can carry on without me afterwards.

AI consulting

You want to know if and where AI pays off for you before you invest? I analyze your workflows, data, and systems, weigh possible use cases by effort and value, and give you a clear recommendation: what to build, what to skip, and in what order.

Interim tech leadership

You're building an AI product or rolling out AI, but you lack the technical leadership for it? I take on that role for a defined period: architecture and technology decisions, planning and prioritization with the team, quality assurance of the implementation. If you want, I build up the role internally and hand it over properly.

AI workshops for dev teams

AI workshops on tasks from your development day-to-day, with the tools you're allowed to use (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor), led by an engineer who builds AI herself. You try out suitable applications directly on your code and learn to check the results.

Who it's for
For development teams that want AI in their daily work. We build on your current experience, whether you're getting started or improving existing ways of working. Workshops for teams outside engineering are available on request. For full-day workshops that also cover general AI fundamentals and topics like the EU AI Act, I team up with another AI trainer.
Possible focus areas

In the intro call, we choose the focus areas and format to suit your tasks, experience, and goals.

  • Understand and apply the fundamentals: You learn how prompts, instructions, skills, tools, and MCP work together and how to build and configure them for your tasks.
  • Code you can trust: You set up agents, context, and conventions so that quality is built in as the code is generated.
  • Coding agents in daily work: You work with agents like Claude Code or GitHub Copilot on your own tickets and learn the dos and don'ts of which tasks to hand over to them.
  • Share what works across the team: You exchange useful approaches and document them so colleagues can build on them.
  • Keep going after the workshop: You develop practical approaches for your work and plan how to keep using them.
Typical tasks
  • Building features straight from the ticket
  • Understanding legacy code and changing it safely
  • Refactorings and migrations that are otherwise too big
  • Narrowing down bugs and speeding up debugging
  • Tests and docs that otherwise never get written
  • Onboarding new team members into the codebase faster

Packages

AI introductory workshop

Half-day · remote or on-site · no prior experience needed

from €1,900

To get started: an overview, live demos on your tools, first prioritized use cases, and a per-person action plan.

Hands-on AI workshop

Full day · remote or on-site · for all experience levels

from €2,900

To put AI to work: exercises on your own tasks, templates to take away, and guidelines for using AI. Includes a follow-up after 3–4 weeks.

AI enablement program

Multi-session over several weeks

on request

For everyday adoption: I guide your first pilot applications and train team members to support their colleagues in using AI.

How it works

  1. 1Short pre-call: your tools, your experience, your goals.
  2. 2In the workshop: fundamentals, live demos on your real tasks, hands-on in small groups.
  3. 3At the end you plan who will use which application in the coming weeks.

What about data protection?

We work with the tools you've already approved, and without sensitive real data where it isn't needed. In the pre-call we agree which data your team can use with each tool, and we write that into your usage guidelines.

Since the EU AI Act (Art. 4), companies must ensure their staff's AI literacy. A workshop is the usual first step toward that. All prices net, plus travel for on-site. I'll check funding options (e.g. German Qualifizierungschancengesetz) with you.

Selected work

Selected projects. Confidential clients are anonymized.

  • GitHub Copilot workshop for developers

    Leading international consulting firm

The development team learned the dos and don'ts of developing code with AI and worked out shared quality standards, systematic code reviews, and reusable shared workflows.

  • AI platform for film & advertising teams

    Cosi

AI-powered SaaS for film and advertising teams. As CTO & co-founder, I built and technically led the complete platform including its AI assistant, from the first commit to the finished product.

  • AI event search & discovery

    Traube

The complete AI layer of the event platform traube.club: semantic search and recommendations, AI-powered event import from URL, photo, or text, and a discovery assistant that guides users to the right events by chat.

  • AI for warehousing, production & shipping

    Industry & logistics

AI solutions across all areas of intralogistics, including sales forecasts 14% more accurate for a dental manufacturer, up to 3.5% less packaging for a wholesaler, and workforce and warehouse control for logistics providers.

  • AI knowledge system (second brain)

    Mid-sized B2B vendor

Internal knowledge system from support and product documentation: shorter search times and faster support handling.

  • AI shopping assistant

    E-commerce platform

Helps people find the right brands and discounts for their needs across around 6,000 stores, right in the chat. I owned the full technical build, from the AI logic through backend and frontend to deployment.

  • Geodata analysis & aerial image segmentation

    Cemetery administration

Automated detection and annotation of structures in aerial imagery: far less manual digitization.

About

Portrait of Berenike Radeck

I'm an AI engineer in Berlin and CTO & co-founder of Cosi. For nearly ten years I've built AI systems, from classic machine learning like forecasting and optimization to today's LLM applications and agentic systems. Before that, I led an AI engineering team, with technical responsibility from architecture through to production. I've been teaching AI since university: back then in tutorials, today in team workshops.

Most of my work runs on AI. I have fun steadily automating away my own tasks and putting the time I win into learning new topics. Along the way I quickly see where AI saves time and where its output needs checking. That's the experience I pass on in workshops.

What I enjoy most is working directly with teams: figuring out together where AI helps, then building it into their daily work.
